Physics Colloquium 2011
The Physics Department is organizing the Physics Colloquium 2011 on
18th – 19th April 2011 (Monday & Tuesday).
The scientific objective is to provide a forum for interaction for final year undergraduate students, post graduate students and the faculty. The colloquium will be held in conjunction with a series of invited talks by prominent scientists from around the country and from industrial sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for faculty, students and the local science and technology community to learn about some of the most intriguing topics in the field of physics today.
The two days conference will be held at Auditorium Physics and seminar rooms BSF A & B, Block C, Department of Physics. In order to accommodate the large number of oral presentations, most of the sessions will be held in parallel. All participants are invited to submit an research paper, which will be printed in a book of proceedings and will be available at the beginning of the conference. Participants are invited to the Conference Dinner at Rumah University, University of Malaya on 19 April, 2011.
