Introduction

 Computational Physics Lab provides studies on learning C programming  language and networking environments under LINUX  operating system for undergraduate students, this lab also are used by the postgraduates student for their Master studies.

 This lab is supervised by Prof Dr. Wan Ahmad Tajuddin Wan Abdullah and  Prof Madya Dr Burhanuddin Kamaluddin.

 Course

SMES3171 - Microcomputer and Microprocessor Practical.

 This course is one of the compulsory subject for the students who major in computational physics. There are two main subjects that the students will learn extensively in this course;

1. Fundamental of Linux Operating System.
2. Microprocessor Programming.

 The Computational Physics Lab provides the following facilities:

Å 1 set Fedora Core 3.0 servers

Å 2 set FreeBSD 4.5 server

Å 12 set Fedora Core 3.0 workstation

Å 4 set Windows Operating System
